EDITOR'S NOTE

Based on the louche blouson silhouette often seen on silver foxes cruising down Portofino in a convertible, this style of suede jacket is the most relaxed in our offering. A relatively cropped shape allows the jacket to be paired with almost any pair of bottoms such as jeans, Gurkhas and other high waisted trousers. The six buttons that fasten the jacket offer some modularity in how the wearer chooses to express himself. Contrasting ribbing adorns the collar, sleeve cuffs and waist of the jacket, creating a comfortable and easy layer that would compliment a T-shirt, light knit or soft collared shirt.

The devil, however, is in the details. Pick stitching surrounds the outer pockets, a nod to menswear traditions, which is secured by a button and flaps in a matching suede. Developed in tandem with the larger-than-life founder of Revolution Magazine, Wei Koh, no expense has been spared in creating this piece of outerwear. The buttons are secured on the backside by translucent stoppers to prevent any unfortunate popping of buttons; the cuffed sleeves allow the wearer to proudly display their timepiece; and the collar stands tall when fastened to protect the neck against high speed winds during joyrides across the riviera. The jacket is also lined in Bemberg for ease and comfort.
