The A-2 bomber jacket is as iconic as it gets. Innately masculine in its fighter pilot origins, this version has been softened for everyday use. Features include a defined snap-down collar, a concealed two-way [YKK] zipper down the center, and ribbings on the cuffs and waist. The buttery suede used on the body creates an appealing balance that is more suitable for civilian use and requires no break-in time (unlike its horsehide original counterpart on which it is based). The hands can slide easily into the pockets - either from the top snap buttoned opening or via the side to keep them warm and protected.

The two-way YKK zipper provides endless maneuverability when it comes to manipulating the shape of the jacket. Wear it fully zipped up for maximum protection, or pull the top and bottom zips towards your navel to emulate the waisting of a tailored blazer. The McQueen jacket is unlined for lightness and comfort, which in fact requires extra labor and attention to detail as each seam is neatly finished given there is no lining to conceal any potential untidiness.

Wear this with a beat up white tee during spring, or a navy roll neck in frigid weather. Versatility is the name of the game with this piece, and it certainly has a place in the wardrobe of any well dressed man.
